Traveling with friends is a lot different from traveling with your family, especially when there are toddlers and senior citizens. You can’t always choose what’s practical, you also have to consider the level of comfort. Despite this, my family and I (composed of 4 adults, 2 toddlers and 2 senior citizens) managed to spend less than P55,000 ALL-IN during our trip to Bantayan Island, Cebu last May. We took advantage of Adelfa Hotel’s close proximity to the famous Larsian and ate there during our first and last night. Barbeque was as good as it was cheap–we only spent P500 for the whole group, per night! Also, we didn’t have time to buy pasalubong so we didn’t incur additional expenses for that.
